Hello, everyone!  I promised myself that when we hit 30 subscribers,  
I'd post a thread asking for introductions...and we're now up to 33,  
so I think it's past time.  In the interest of making this quick and  
easy, I'll use a little template, but feel free to use whatever form  
pleases you.

Name: Barbara Cameron

Other people in my family: Steve (my husband), Maggie (almost 7),  
Anna (3-1/2), Ralph (cat), Mopsey (dog)

I live in: Durham (Watts-Hillandale)

I was born/grew up in: Champaign, IL

Some things about me: I used to be (among other things) a teacher,  
cake decorator, scientist, and social worker.  I love to cook and  
craft (both by myself and with my kids).  Lately I'm particularly  
obsessed with knitting.  My family participates in the Dream and  
Discover homeschool co-op.  I'm a La Leche League Leader and I teach  
a breastfeeding class at UNC hospital.

Some things about my kids: Maggie loves to read, especially  
mysteries, and lately fairy books; she has recently discovered  
jumping rope and is loving it.  Anna loves any kind of play that  
involves water, especially pouring it in and out of containers.  And  
glue (glittery or not), lots and lots of glue. Both my girls love to  
be outside--mostly playing in the yard and garden with me, a lot of  
hiking on the Eno with their dad.
