I was born/grew up: Atlanta, GA / Lilburn (suburb)

Some things about me: I am following Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon
and for my kids Gut and Psychology Syndrome
by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride to heal their leaky guts (which caused their
multiple food allergies). It is challenging 
as I prepare nearly everything we eat, but I believe the results will be
worth the effort. I just took on the responsibility of 
organizing a co-op to deliver farm-fresh nourishing foods (grass-fed,
free-range, 100% organic, raw dairy, etc. ) from Amos 
Miller, an Amish farmer in Pennsylvania.  I'm a children's consignment sale
nut and I love to sew and cook. I sing with the 
contemporary praise band at my church. I'm passionate about breastfeeding,
freedom of choice to consume raw dairy and 
revealing the dangers of soy in the diet. I was a vegetarian for about 10
years until my mother introduced me to the 
Weston A. Price Foundation a little over a year ago. 

Some things about my kids: Both have multiple food allergies which can make
social situations a challenge sometimes. 
Ashley loves to learn and asks questions all the time. She loves new
projects and she loves to perform. Shannon loves
pressing buttons, sprinting from point A to B, getting into everything and
climbing anything and everything. She is a 
creative problem-solver and she enjoys "helping" mommy with household
duties.
